ENGLISH WORKS PROGRAM GILGIT-BALTISTAN

GRACE English Works! Program is an intensive, 240-hour English and employability skills development course for unemployed and under employed 17 – 25 years old youth from economically vulnerable families currently running in Baltistan. This six-month program is designed specifically for young adults in Pakistan, and has so far benefitted 200 youth from underserved families in Skardu and Shigar districts in Gilgit-Baltistan. This program was highly effective for youth development with the knowledge and skills they needed to get jobs or be self-employed. Many of our program graduates have joined the government sectors and serving as skilled human resources and many others qualified for further higher studies in highly reputed universities in the country and abroad.200 youth (50% girls) graduated the GRACE English Works Programs in two cohorts during 2018 and 2019. The next cohort expected to start from mid-2020 for more 50 male and 50 female students with exclusive gender classrooms/centers.GRACE English Works! Program Gallery
