Apart from its key priority areas GRACE joins hands with the humanitarian communities in responding to emergencies in the aftermath of a disaster or an emergency. Organizational values, vision, mission, strategic principles and strategic interventions guide implementation of our programs. The Monitoring and Evaluation Framework is in place to track progress on achieving results, for keeping the programs on track and promotion of our achievements. Interim program evaluation is conducted to assessing program effectiveness, relevance, sustainability and impact of our interventions.

GRACE niche is in synch with the Prime Minister’s statement regarding uplifting of most vulnerable and deprived populations, in his ever first address to the nation after assuming the premiers’ office and this is the mainstay of GRACE Association of Pakistan. GRACE Association Pakistan has identified three program areas to focus in the next five to ten years.

1. Quality Education;

2. Skills Enhancement and Employment and

3. Environment and Climate Change

Why these areas

These areas have been thoughtfully worked out for synergies with government, UN and other larger development partners. They are linked to the Government of Pakistan’s Vision 2030 and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals particularly SDG 1: end poverty, 4: quality education, 5: gender equality, 7: affordable and clean energy, 8: decent work and economic growth, 10: reduced inequalities, 13: climate action and 16: peace, justice and strong institutions. Priority programs also appreciate other International instruments including Convention on the Right of Child, UN Declaration on Human Rights, UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disability and UN Convention on Climate Change etc. GRACE interfaces its programs with ongoing larger programs at national level for learning, complementarities and avoiding duplication.

GRACE emphasizes on its strategic intervention of policy advocacy and would draw governments’ policy process to be more inclusive of the concerns of GRACE target groups. GRACE makes endeavors to work in close partnership with government as well as private sector for the purpose of sustainability of its programs.
