GRACE Association Pakistan is pleased to implement the English Access Microscholarship Program in Baltistan in collaboration with the Regional English Language Office at the U.S. Embassy Islamabad. This program aims to provide a foundation of English language skills to bright economically disadvantaged 13–20-year-old students through after-school and intensive programming virtually and face-to-face hybrid classes.

We are looking for experienced, dynamic, and competitive male/female teaching candidates to join GRACE Access Program Baltistan 2021-23 after school as a part-time job for few hours three to four times a week. Job Title: Academic Coordinator 

Job Specifications: 
  1. Sixteen (16) years of formal education from HEC-recognized university in English Language, English Literature/Linguistics, or closely related field.
  2. At least five (5) years of experience in teaching to secondary and higher-grade students, having experience in teaching online using Zoom, Canvas, and other digital tools.
  3. Possess a reasonable typing speed (at least 30 words per minute) with accuracy.
  4. Ability to spare a reasonable amount of time to engage students through synchronous and asynchronous learning having strong broadband connectivity with a power bank.
  5. At least two (2) years of experience in a leadership position overseeing academic program management or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  6. Proven skills to conduct need-based training for the teaching staff.
  7. Ability to monitor and evaluate teachers and provide constructive feedback.
  8. Strong desire and motivation to work with disadvantaged youth.
  9. Possesses advanced level of English language skills.
  10. Demonstrates willingness and ensures availability to actively participate in professional development opportunities offered throughout the program.
  11. Must possess good organizational skills, efficiency, and strong communication and reporting skills.

Job Title: Technical Instructor

Job Specifications: 
  1. A Master’s degree(s) from an HEC-recognized institute in English Language, English Literature, Education, Sociology, Computer Science, or Commerce.
  2. At least two (2) years of experience in the educational sector managing computer literacy.
  3. Proficient computer skills to troubleshoot problems of teachers, students, and program management during online classes.
  4. Proficient in using educational digital tools including (not limited to) Zoom and Canvas.
  5. Must possess an intermediate level of English language skills.
  6. Possesses a reasonable typing speed (at least 30 words per minute) with accuracy.
  7. Ability to spare a reasonable amount of time to engage students through synchronous and asynchronous learning having strong broadband connectivity with a power bank.
  8. Demonstrates willingness to actively participate in professional development offered throughout the program.
  9. High organizational skills and efficiency.

Job Title: English Language Teacher

Job Specifications: 
  1. Sixteen (16) years of formal education from HEC-recognized university in English Language, English Literature, English Linguistic, English with specialization in English or closely related field.
  2. At least three (3) years of experience in teaching to secondary and higher grade students;
  3. Must possess proficient knowledge and skills in Computer Applications, teaching Online and face to face classes using technology such as ZOOM, Canvas, and other digital and non-digital teaching resources; Strong desire and motivation to work with students
  4. Possesses a reasonable typing speed (at least 30 words per minute) with accuracy.
  5. Ability to spare a reasonable amount of time to engage students through synchronous and asynchronous learning having strong broadband connectivity with a power bank.
  6. Willingness and availability to actively participate in professional development opportunities offered throughout the program and possess strong organizational, communication skills and efficiency to manage time.
