GRACE Association Pakistan is pleased to provide the English Access Microscholarship Program (Access Program) in Baltistan in collaboration with the Regional English Language Office (RELO) at the U.S. Embassy Islamabad

This program provides a foundation of English language skills to high performing students from disadvantaged and underserved backgrounds; enhances students’ academic performances with the tools and motivation to contribute to the socio-economic development in our country; equips students with synchronous and asynchronous learning language proficiency, critical thinking, digital and critical media literacy, cross-cultural understanding, leadership, civic engagement and public and planet health knowledge and skills to compete for higher education and career opportunities in Pakistan and abroad, especially those funded by the United States; Our program increases students’ familiarity and appreciation of global culture and democratic values while promoting peace and development in the society.

Applications are invited from 13–20-year-old students from Skardu, Shigar and Khaplu Baltistan to participate in the English Access Microscholarship Program, virtually as well as face to face (hybrid) sessions.

250 Access Microscholarship Awards will be provided to students from economically disadvantaged families with an equal gender enrollment. Students with disabilities are highly encouraged to apply.

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Must be a student;
  • Age between 13 – 20 years-old
  • Domicile: Baltistan

 

TIMELINE

  • Last date to apply: Nov 30, 2021
  • Test/Interviews dates: will be communicated through phone calls/SMS, emails;
  • The program start date will be informed to qualified students only.
