What is GRACE?


GRACE ASSOCIATION PAKISTAN (The GrassRoots Association for Community Empowerment; GRACE) is a non profit, non government and non partisan organization (NPO) registered with the Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Islamabad under section 42 of the Companies’ Ordinance 1984. The organization has developed into a regionally and nationally recognized, independently governed sustainable institution from a grassroots initiative taken almost one and half decade ago. Areas of interventions have flourished from education and health to agriculture, environment, natural resource management, ecotourism, water and sanitation, humanitarian assistance and livelihood. The overall strategic framework of the organization is anchored in the concept of sustainable development, enhanced outreach to the most vulnerable and socially excluded groups and communities and replication of best practices.
